At the JV boy’s soccer game on October 8th, Isaac Allen (38) runs to get the ball from his Oakville opponent. “It was towards the end of the game and I was trying to set up a goal-scoring opportunity for the team, so I wanted to attack and make a good pass to score,” Allen explains.Captain Armin Masinovic (33) creates a plan as he sets up for his free kick, “I tell my teammates where to go in the box and set them up.” After that, Masinovic explains, “as the whistle blows I take the kick and try my best to get the ball in the box for my teammates to lead on and score.”Sophomore Sani Hodzic (48) puts up a fight against the Oakville Tigers as he dribbles toward the goal attempting to pass his opponent. Hodzic explained, “we put up a good fight as a team and tried our best to work together to create a good outcome in the game.” The energy was matched between the Oakville Tigers and Lindbergh Flyers as the game ended in a 2-2 tie.Sophomore Goalie Eddie Huckstep (1) sets up for a goal kick against the Oakville Tigers.
